Running a big blog is like politics

I copped some negative feedback from readers of Bannerblog for trying to turn off comments for one entry, check it out here. Disqus didnt work and comments were left on (i didnt check) and then it started a debate.

I feel like a local mayor who tried to do something for the community and got his ass handed back to him by the vocal minority.

Funny no one cared I took on a Sponsor and altered the site nav but I try and turn off comments for one banner and they get their knickers in a not.
