Who the fruit would want to win a hand beater?!?! What better way to impress the girl you are trying to root than to win her a Belle Hand Beater. Maybe it's a subliminal message that you no longer want to hand "beat it" and have passed the reins over to her.

I wonder what other prizes have already been won on the rods that are empty? Executive nose trimmer, dolphin shaped back massager, zipper repair kit.

Hand Sculpture

The thing that puzzled me about this sculpture and the reason i took the photo of it was how out of place it was in the shop on the Gold Coast. Here's a guy who makes dolphins, sea creatures, and other tourist friendly pieces of work and then right out the front he pops a stone carving of the "got your nose" hand gesture.

Is this a long lost Greek Myth, where Hercules smites his enemies by taking their nose?

In Indonesia this is actually as rude as raising your middle finger (which is not offensive in SE Asia) I think means to have sex?

Any way you look at it it seems weird and would be better placed in the back shelve at a sex shop in Canberra.

Suhi Boat

I took this photo at the Sushi Boat restaurant in Newtown earlier this year. I snapped this one photo before they told me to stop.

I was confused as to what made the boats go around? A current? Magnets? I tried to stop the boats but they had some force behind them.
I went back to this place a month ago and it had changed to a Sushi Train?!
Why is most sushi served on trains?

The place had one original thing going for it, a boat not a train serves the food, and then it gets bought out by the Sushi Train people.

Do they have Sushi trains in the USA and UK? Or is it just an Australian thing?

I understand that Cock is another name for a male rooster but is there really any need to make the word COCK so big on the packaging?

World Square

I spent nearly all day on Sunday taking photos of this huge mural around Sydney's World Square

Forgive my lack of effort in trying to match the exposure on the photos.

Thanks to Ervi for being patient and waiting by my side so i didn't look like a loner freak taking the photos.

Homeless

I noticed this guy while eating lunch in the city on the weekend.

And this guy while walking home that night. He must have passed out in the Subway Sandwich Shop.

Lack of updates

It's been over a month since i last posted. Too busy with work and just forgot out little ol' truffle.

Work wise we just launched the Pinicchio Music Mixer for the Shrek 2 DVD site for Aus.

Updated our site with 80's personas as a member of the team left and 2 new people joined.

I went to the snow for the first time. I suck at skiing. I haven't even posted any photos of the trip!

Still playing squash although it seems our Wednesday games are no longer as it's officially "Gay Squash night" and you can't book courts unless you prebook months in advance.

But not that anyone will care about whats happeing with me.

All my good links and interesting stuff is posted on the Soap's Weekly 6. I think in doing this i no longer have an urge to blog.
