work

its been very busy at work lately but we are getting a lot done. there's nothing worse than being busy and no jobs are getting finished or you feel you haven't achieved anything.

Hopefully tomorrow we would have finished 2 or the 3 bigger jobs. and most of the way through the 3rd (well kinda)

we've (soap creative) have also got an exciting ecard system we will launch soon which is probably one of the things i am most proud of. Both in terms of the flash coding behind it and its wide appeal and usefulness and commercial viability.

I also will be talking at Digit again this year. While not exactly the biggest or best conference it's still nice to get up and ramble on about stuff.

and i finally got my Jamungo posters so more artwork for the Ashehym museum!!!

Airooka

I just bought an Airzook for the office from DStore. It's great, although bigger than expected and louder. But definitely worth the money. I got an orange one which turns out to be fluro orange. Woudl have been good to get a grey one like this

Check out all the other cool office toys on this page. Ahh there's my xmas list set for a while.

Butterfly Effect

I saw The Butterfly Effect last night. I hadn't seen any review of this movie and in the end i thought it was pretty good. A combination of Johnny Darko and Bedazzled (either version). (ie teenage, grungy, time travel with unsuspected results from good intentions)

Aston Kutcher wasn't as bad as I though he would be. This movie is worth a movie rental at least. Aston Kutcher discovers he can enter a past version of himself by reading his journals. Kept to try and help his memory blackouts. When changes he makes in the past in an effort to fix the future he gets into hot water.

Three cheers for giving a obese goth some screen time.

Rating: 7
See Again: At friends on video
Rent-worthy: Yes
See in cinema: If nothing else good on

Pizza Toppings

I ignorantly ordered a chicken schnitzel pizza from Pizza Hut yesterday.
The little schnitzel finger stuck into the middle of each piece with it's brownish/grey meat inside was not what I was expecting at all. In fact I didn't even think through the toppings that well at all. I just imagined something nice.

Now I know to stick to the simple pizzas and leave the steak & chips or seafood pizza's to adventurous people.

Also Pizza Huts Troppo Veg with corn??! I guess it still tasted better than Eagle Boys which make the worst pizza in Australia.

Pizza ratings for Australia for me are:
1: Independent Gourmet Pizza Places
2: Dominos
3: Pizza Haven/Pizza Hut
4: Home Made Pizzas
5: Frozen Pizzas from Supermarket
6: No Frills Frozen Pizza from Supermarket
7: Bread with Tomato Sauce
8: Go hungry, eat nothing
7: Eagle Boys Pizza
