I've seen quite a few movies lately so here's some quick reviews. Watch Again means that if your friend has it on DVD later and says "do you want to see it?"

Cinema:

1: The Last Samurai:
The movie looked good and Tom Cruise played the role well. The strategy of the Samuari's battles seemed blatantly stupid but I guess that is why there is no more left.

2: Big Fish:
A great movie for the whole family. The stories were good and Ewen McGreggor was great. One that the kids and parents will enjoy.

3: Welcome to the Jungle
I enjoyed this movie as an adventure action getaway. Good mix of humour and action. And it's mixed up well ith no repeating the same stuff over and over. The Rock is great and there is no better action hero right now. He will be the next Arnie.

4: The Italian Job:
We rented this last night. The movie doesn't really have that much action to get you excited and the baddie isn't that bad. I don't know why they just didn't kill him and steal the gold. Lot's of famous actors, BS gagets and and ending you don't care for. The mini's are cool but then they don't really do that much.

5: Chicago:
I'm not a musical fan and Richard Gere singing was nearly as annoying as Rene Zellwegger. The songs tied into the story line well and the movie looked good.

6: 2 Fast 2 Furious:
I didn't see the first movie and for that I'm glad. This movie has cool cars and a sexy chic. That's about it. Again the bad guy is lame and the story is worse. The hard things about a movie about cars is making it fresh. You can only hit the Nitro boost and change gears so many times before it all becomes boring.

7: City of God
An amazing movie which shows you a side of Brazil you here about on in documentaries. The acting is great especially from such a young cast and the colour and sound of the movie is amazing. Definitely worth seeing.

7: Cocoon:
An old movie that it was on at 10.30 at night but I still sat and watched it as i've heard about it but never saw it. All this movie did was make me angry at how the old people stuffed up the alien's pods, then got offered to go to space for eternal life. Steve Guttenburg gets a wad of cash for his boat but no trip into space. And that annoying kid makes a last minute dash to gif the movie some action. I still would watch the sequel on TV
