September 24, 2002: September 24, 2002Noisy PeeDon't you love it when you can hear your neighbours pee. I thought most people pee'd around the bowl, but the guy above me loves to shoot directly to the water. I'm pretty sure it's a guy or it's a women with a whole lotta pressure down there. Or am i totaly under the wrong impression and the only person who pee's onto the bowl?? September 22, 2002: September 22, 2002Waking Life ArtWhat's that you want to buy me a present?? Don't know what I want. How bout a print from Waking life Art Awww shucks. You shouldn't have. I saw the DVD of Waking Life at blockbuster last night but havent seen it in the shops!!!!! Damn my search will never end September 21, 2002: September 21, 2002Fruit and VegesIf was a fruit I would like to be an apple. And if was to be a vegetable i'd like to be a snow pea. I rented Kung Pow with my movie rental vouchers and it was pretty funny. I'm glad I get it at the video store and didn't see it in the cinemas. September 20, 2002: September 20, 2002September 16, 2002: September 16, 2002Meat PiesWhy is it that Americans dont eat meat Pies. You'd think a country of excess would have thought of putting meat in pastry. It might just be an Australian thing but i think there is a huge untapped market. Meat pies use the crappy pieces of meat, so the American Beef Companies have a great way of sellign the off cuts. Also its a proven hit in meat eating countries like Australia. Do Americans eat Sausage rolls?. I mean it's not a far step from Hotdog to Sausage roll. This is like my idea to take a slushie machine around Indonesia. Slushies are cheap here and every Indonesian person I've met like Slushies. Anyway any Americans out there that want to make it big, try introducing meat pies to the USA. If anyone knows of failed attempts to do so please tell me. September 07, 2002: September 7, 2002Dali UniverseThere is a large Dali exhibition on at the Customs House in Circluar Quay this month. They have these really nice sculptures outside to advertise it. The melting clock is one everyone knows but this flower women is new to me, I love the colour. She was sporting a large crutch though (the wooden kind) For any Dali fans I doubt we'll see a bigger collection of his work in Australia for a while. Tickets are around $15 AUD so thats pretty cheap New OfficeWe have moved into an office in the city and for the first time I have arrived at work on time for a week. I even arrived first 2 times. A special event for all those that know me. Also i met with Nathan J last night, he was in Sydney for a short trip, and then when I came back to the office to pick up my bag I set the alarm off. I spent 5 min waiting for someone with the code to ring me back. Luckily the cleaner came. Phew. Laptop CinemaI rented Mulholland Drive on DVD and went to watch it on my laptop but didnt have my power pack. So I had to turn the screen down the darkest, and fast forward throguh bits that didnt have much speaking. I made it with 10 min to spare. The DVD had no select chapters which was annoying. Actually I didnt notice much difference having the screen down so dark. The movie looks beaitiful but is a little more confusing than I expected. It's one of those movies you had to find a site that explains it for you to undertsand it. |
