Star Wars Ep2 is

Star Wars Ep2 is filmed entirly in Digital Film and this allows the distributors to send the movies via satellite. Meaning that the quality of the image will never fade, and that cinemas will not need 12 different copies of the reel they just download it.

The cost savings alone will mean it should be taken up quickly, i wonder how long until the satellite feed will be hacked??

I took a trip all

I took a trip all the way out to Moore Park Supa Centre to get a desk. I got there and there wasn't any good ones so we bought a frypan from Ikea?!?

That store is insane. The have a broshure and it says

www.bit-101.com/ has probably the best flash experiments around today. The design looks like poo but the code in there is very sweet. No source files but thats ok.

Most of the files I see I just think how cool they would look in a game.

Microsoft have reduced the price of the Xbox to $399. Not only that they are giving people who bought the machine before this price reduction a chance to get 2 games and a controller free.

So if you bought an Xbox call the shop ASAP cause the 2 free games offer ends mid May.

Nintendo have reduced the price of their Gamecube to $329, before it's release here on May17.

Loss leaders indeed. It seems the game industry is willing to lose out hardocre to gain market share. This just means cheaper consoles for everyone :)

It's always a confusing time

It's always a confusing time when it comes to superannuation.

I have had numerous jobs and am still in numerous funds.

My old McDonalds superannuation is sitting on a petty $34 which i'm hoping to buy a CD with when I retire.

My largest amount of super changed hands 4 times in the last 2 years (all from the same employer) and all you seem to get is letters telling you that, not only has your super lost you money (ie -$194 earnings) but you are also being charged for the management of this. I aksed to be put into the highrisk areas yet they stuck me in the most conservative (maybe i could have lost more)

Superannuation seems like this magical fund that you will depend on when old. The only people getting real benifit of these funds are the people managing them

I downloaded a 3 MB

I downloaded a 3 MB file on my 56k at an average of 7.5k per second.

It was at 12k p/sec for like 30 seconds and I cheered it home to the 7.5k average.

I have neve been so excited to download something and even took a snaphot to commemorate the moment.

The site Rob and myself

The site Rob and myself made to house the games we built at Hyro has won the games category at Flash Forward San Fran

Both of us no longer work there (HYRO) but it's still feels good to win.

Note: there were many people involved in the making of the games for the site. Sales people, illustrators, database dudes etc etc. If it wasn't for those people the games would not have been made.

The bad thing about being

The bad thing about being lazy with your looks and clothes, is that when you have to meet someone important you only have one "outfit" to wear.

This becomes hard when you have to meet 2 important people, 2 days in a row.

Whats even worse is when you are lazy about doing your washing. And when you meet that same important person, a week or so later, you are not only wearing the same clothes but they haven't been washed since your last meeting. They start to remember you as "the guy in the green shirt who stinks"

Luckily I can divert their attention from the familar, stinky shirt, with a mess of bed hair. Usually by the time I have finished my morning Milo, my hair is dry and moulded into what ever shape the towel left it in.

I'm so glad I bought an extra shirt for 2002

It was my friends 30th

It was my friends 30th birthday today. Yet he looks so young he still gets asked ID at nightclubs/bars. He can't even get proof of age card as he's to old for that. haha

So he is going for his learners permit so he has photo ID other than his passport.
