I have fixed the obvious

I have fixed the obvious Javascript errors on the main page and a small one in the Happy Snaps. Everything should now work. Funny enough it works fine on Mac IE5 which I thought would be a hard browser to please.

One problem I can't fix easily is the fact this site isn't 800x600 friendly. So consider this an apology to all those people with shitty monitors.

I cooked my first real

I cooked my first real meal since my highschool Home Economics class in year 11. Which I failed then changed to sport and recreation, which I just barely passed.

The final analysis of the meal by me was that it sucked. I didn't even save the leftovers, of which there was quite a bit.

I did discover how lemon grass got its name, that I don't like chestnuts and that fish sauce is easy to get out of your hair.

It seems working at Fox

It seems working at Fox Studios here at Moore Park has its perks.

Fox the company decided to do spring cleaning and throw out 2 bins full of posters, movie stands, DVD box proofs and awards for sales.

So now our office is filled with Star Wars everything. Spinal Tap posters, display things and heaps of other shit.

There's nothing like the rush of srting through a giant bin full of goodies while everyone looks at you like you.

And it's all going to happen again on Monday as the bins are full now. Ahhh can't wait :)

Just got my new 80GB

Just got my new 80GB hard drive which funny enough is 76GB.

It's fun just to copy CD's across for the fun of it. And for some reason I feel compelled to watch every MB copy over.

I saw Dude Where's My

I saw Dude Where's My Car last night.

It was so bad I think it needs mention here.

Take a Police Acadamy Movie. Remove the sound effect dude and Animal and you are left with a good comparison to DWMC.

The jokes went on for too long. If you hate seeing that tattoo scene on TV, watch out as there are worse (and longer) jokes in the movie that are even worse.

It wasn't just me that thought it lacked that certain quality know as "Watchabilty" the entire cinema audience was very silent.

If a program, lets use Flash 5 for example, crashed and in the process of crashing corrupts the file. Leaving you with nothing. Can you sue the maker of that program for creating a fucked program. And if not why not??

If I made cars for a living and my cars had a major bug in them that killed people, I would expect to be sued over the deaths of the motorist's. I would also recall those cars until the bug was fixed.

So far Flash 4 has corrupted, I'd say about 6 files of mine and Flash 5 only 1. That one file did mean I had to redo a days work and lose track of where I was at. This is not to mention the fact that Flash 5 (or Crash 5 as it has been called by many people) crash's constantly. Even on simple things.

If Macromedia were to be held responsible for major fuck-ups wouldn't that give us some guarantee that when they release a product they bug check it first??

Whatever the case Macromedia can get fucked. Photoshop runs like a dream and has done from day one. I have seen no continuous crash's.

Yet Flash can't hold it's pants up.

I hope to shove a spoon up the sphinxster of every team member of the Flash 5 dev team.

The redesign is coming along

The redesign is coming along well. I have the basics down in HTML now and i'm just doing the nav.

The hardest thing I see will be the conversion of all the happy snaps. The other sections should be fine as they are small.

You can now get bottles

You can now get bottles of drink from Coke machines at Central Station and pay for them by using your mobile phone. You ring the number on the machine and follow the instructions and presto, the drink is charged to your next bill.

This is great although it's currently only available for Telstra customers :(

Why does my 64MB Memory Stick have only 60MB of space??
My Zip100 is for some reason 94.2MB??

If other industries worked like the computer accesories industry we would have 410ML cans of drink. Be driving V9 cars. Sleeping in Ultra King size beds and wearing SPF 380+. Yet nothing would be different.

Only CD's that say they are 650MB actually are. Is it just me or are we all being conned.

Speaking of ideas to save the enviroment.

In the olden days we used large records to listen to music and now we listen to CD's.
A CD used to only contain 650MB now with DVD we can hold 6 GIG a side.

So why don't we grow tiny cows with compressed meat. I'd say dog size cows, that you can grow in your backyard that feed a school, would be a great idea.

Can't wait till me kids have to live in 50 degree heat in winter because today's people couldn't be fucked turning off a light or assed to recycle. Is it that hard to separate your rubbish??

Every morning when I'm rushing

Every morning when I'm rushing to get out to work I make small desisions that will save me valuable minutes and seconds.

1: Today instead of turning my socks the right way out I just left them thus saving a good 15 seconds.
2: I didn't eat breakfast (I never do) and thus saved a huge 5 min.
3: Having short hair gives me the option of using the finger brush instead of a comb. This is also influenced by the fact I don't own a comb or brush. Time saved 30 secs
4: Everything I take to work fits into the one big pocket on my bag. This creates a tangle of cords and power plugs at work but I have time to spare once I'm there. Time saved by not organising cords = 1 min.
5: The classic jeans and T-short combo saves time in the fashion dept. As long as they are not the same colour I don't care. Time saved by being a complete fashion mistake = 3 min.

All these small decisions equate to about 9-10 min of extra sleep which I think is well worth it.
