There is a new trend with the bums in Sydney. They don't jus t come out at you and ask for money, now they ask you something like..

Bum: "Hey mate, can I ask you a very important question?"
Me: "ok."
Bum: "Yeah I just lost my wallet and I have to get to"
Me: "MONEY!?!, NO"
Bum: "oh"

Now, not only do they anoy you but they also waste your time by trying to pass of as someone asking for directions. I used to give money but after seeing the same people week after week ask me the same question I just have shut off to them.

I also saw one lady eating a McDonalds chocolate sundae. Why not the 30c cone? Why did she have to get the $1.20 chocolate sundae? Oh well mabye thats me looking to deeply into things.

Is it just me or does DIK take everything too personal?? Geez, someone makes a comment about the mugshots, so what, no reason to badmouth their design skills. Last time they refered to a site as "losers" for having their own mugshot page. But as we all know now that idea is strictly a DIK thing only.

Let me explain more about the previous post. I think it's funny how people descibe their sites, and the way people descirbe their own work. There is no better insight into someone than their own words

It's like meta tags where people feel that the more "BUZZ" words they put in the more hits they will recieve. That may be right but if you put "wet pussy" in your meta tags and you have a design site then will that user return??

I like checking my hit counters too but the novelty is wearing off fast.

I posted my "Flashturbation" site on Flashkits links area, with the description "Flashturbation and not much else. Over 100+ .flas". With this I have recieved 3657 hits. Not bad huh?

Yet, if i had of called my site "Extreme Flash FLA" with a description like "A good list of FLA files for download and analysis, the best way to learn is fro mthe experts!" (speeling mistake and all) I may have recieved 16000+ hits.

I really hate purchasing electronic

I really hate purchasing electronic equipment. There is never a clear winner and you end up never knowing if you made the right choice.

Take digital cameras as an example, I got my preferances down to 2.

A: Has a good zoom but bad battery consumption.
B: Has good battery consumption but a lower zoom range.
A: Has all the trimmings but a lower resolution.
B: Nearly all the trimmings and a higher resolution.
A: Looks cooler but is hard to store away
B: Doesn't look as funky but will be easier to cart around
A: & B: Are both the same price.

Anyway I went with A. I can always by another battery, now all i need to do is buy a new PC. Ahhhhh.

I'd like to point out that you can learn a lot about poeple by living beneath them. Here is what I have learnt about the lovely people at Unit 18.

1: They own a very small and noisy washing machine. The small size forces them to do 2-3 washes per week, at odd times of the night.

2: They have hard wood floors

3: They love to juggle small hard objects that bounce

4: They aren't very good at juggling

5: They own a hammer and a big drill

6: Hammering and drilling is part of their weekly routine.

7: They like to follow up hammering with a good stint of drilling.

8: They believe that everyone in the block of units doesn't mind being woken up at 5am to buzz them in, because they forgot their keys.

9: They believe that TV can only be enjoyed at high volume levels.

10: They are avid collectors of trolleys and like to display their collection in the foyer area for others to enjoy.
